“Trap Tox”: Slim the Neck and Reduce Pain

How Does Trap Tox Work?
The power of Trap Tox lies in the neurotoxins (e.g. Botox), which contain botulinum toxin type A, a neuromodulator. Upon injection into the trapezius muscle, this neurotoxin temporarily disrupts communication between nerves and muscles, effectively inhibiting muscle contractions. This mechanism not only alleviates tension and discomfort but also induces gradual muscle atrophy, leading to a slenderizing effect on the shoulders and a visually elongated neck.

 What Should I Expect During the Procedure?
During your appointment, I will first evaluate your trapezius muscles and understand your desired results. The procedure itself lasts only 10-20 minutes, with minimal discomfort and no downtime. The number of Botox units administered will be tailored to the size and strength of your trapezius muscle, as well as your desired goals. 

What is the Recovery Time?
Typically, Trap Tox requires minimal recovery time, allowing you to resume your routine immediately. While strenuous exercise should be avoided for 24 hours post-treatment, and refrain from touching or rubbing the injection sites.

How Soon Will I See Results?
Results from Trap Tox typically manifest within two to four days, with full effects appearing within 10 to 14 days. The duration of results varies but typically lasts between four to six months. While side effects such as swelling, bruising, or soreness may occur, severe reactions are rare. 

What is the Cost?
Treatments start at $900. The total number of units are based on the size and strength of your trapezius muscles as well as your goals for the treatment. ​
