PRP Facial
(Microneedling + PRP)
A platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial is a cosmetic procedure that harnesses the power of your body's own blood plasma and platelets to promote cell turnover and collagen synthesis in the skin.
Due to the speed and efficacy, a PRP facial is often my patients go-to solution for many aging symptoms:
Wrinkles
Acne scars
Loose skin
Large pores
Dark spots
Improving skin tone

What is a PRP Facial procedure like?
The first step in this treatment is to draw the patient's blood, and then centrifuge it in order to separate the platelet rich plasma (PRP - aka "Liquid Gold") from the rest of the cells. Next, after numbing the face, the PRP is applied topically, and a microneedling treatment is performed to help inject it into the top layers of the skin.

How does a PRP Facial work?
Microneedling with PRP combines traditional microneedling with the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Similar to microneedling, this treatment method helps improve the quality of your skin by utilizing a small pen-like instrument (SkinPen) to cause artificial damage that results in subsequent healing and generation of new skin.
How fast will I see results from a PRP Facial?
PRP facial results are long lasting, with improved skin texture and a more youthful appearance becoming apparent within days. The collagen your skin naturally generates in the following weeks remains effective, enhancing skin vitality over time.
How many sessions do you recommend?
You'll see results after your first treatment in just a few days. For best results, I recommend starting with 3 sessions spaced out by 4 weeks, and then semi-annually or annually to ensure you maintain and continue to improve your skin.
What is the recovery time of a PRP Facial?
Your skin will likely be discolored and mildly peel for 1-3 days. Keep your skin hydrated and out of direct sunlight - if you're in sunlight use a high SPF sunscreen. Remaining hydrated and getting lots of sleep will be crucial to a healthy recovery.

Am I a good candidate for a PRP Facial?
Nearly anyone who wants to improve the quality of their skin or reduce wrinkles, lines, or scars is a candidate for microneedling with PRP.
