What is Daxxify and how is it different from Botox?
Daxxify is an FDA-approved injectable neurotoxin used to treat glabellar lines (the frown lines between your eyebrows, commonly called the "11s"). Like Botox and Dysport, Daxxify uses a purified botulinum toxin type A protein that works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to treated muscles. Once injected, Daxxify softens expression lines caused by repeated muscle contractions.

​What are the side effects of Daxxify?
Side effects are generally mild and temporary. The most common include slight redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, which typically resolves within a few hours. Less common side effects include headache and, rarely, temporary eyelid drooping (ptosis). I take great care to ensure precise placement to minimize any risk of side effects.
